We are 92 weeks away from the 100th Academy Awards; follow Adam, Drew, and Sarah as they get Zieggy with it in our next Best Picture winner discussion - 1936's The Great Ziegfeld.

The Great Ziegfeld tells the story of the... great Ziegfeld.  He's okay.  One of the biggest drivers of the growth of Broadway, and inspiration for the events in The Broadway Melody - Florenz Ziegfeld went from relative obscurity to an iconic stage producer.  It's a biopic that happened almost immediately after the death of the man himself, showing how important he was to the culture.  He may be the original impresario - but were we impressed with this Best Picture win?

In this episode you're gonna hear:
  • How an all-star cast catapulted The Great Ziegfeld to commercial success
  • All the hosts' favorite biopics (and how to pronounce it!)
  • Which Frank Capra movie was remade as an Adam Sandler comedy
  • Bad impressions of both Michael Jackson and Elvis
