Can you believe this is our 10th epsiode?  We are 91 weeks away from the 100th Academy Awards; follow Adam, Drew, and Sarah as "They Accuse!" (that will make sense later) one of the most French Best Picture winners - 1937's The Life of Emile Zola.

We're back in the biopic trenches (regardless of how you pronounce it) with the story of Emile Zola, a French journalist and author whose career spanned the late 1800s.  Specifically, this movie covers his early career to death while also taking time to focus on a major political event of the moment; the Dreyfus Affair.  Kind of...  We've got thoughts about the history, and we've got thoughts about the movie - and most importantly we've got opinions on how this fits into the Best Picture canon.

In this episode you're gonna hear:
  • How famed muckraker Emile Zola would have done on TikTok today
  • Discussion on which key words were specifically not included in the film and why
  • Which two-time Best Actress winner should have been canceled in the 30s
  • Best Picture Brainrot's awards for the first 10 Oscar winners
